Moving truck, a lady from the bank with coffee, Holden PD Worcester County department and some guy with a Plow show up to remove lawful protestors from the steps of a house in Holden.
This clip highlights SO many different things that need to be rectified with systemic change. Sheriff’s show up BECAUSE the person who sent the eviction notices isn’t able to enforce them. They say regardless of who thinks it might be assault, the court says for them to be there and to take posession of the house, they cite how they’ve been over that before at past evictions. They think the POST commission is just Guidelines.
Maybe they left because of the ongoing legal proceedings, maybe they left because I was right. I am still catching my breath. This went relatively great.
I expected them to end up physically removing us from the steps. Captain Mailmain is the same person who led the eviction that was eventually successful at 14 Pinewood Lane which included people from the Worcester county sheriffs special operations, which I didn’t even know was a thing but apparently has it’s own patch.
