Parks Commission doesn't want to acknowledge it's wrongdoing
And they're trying pretty hard to avoid discussing it.

The only thing on the agenda for this weeks Parks meeting is
Which sounds innocuous enough. And it’s technically all true.
The referenced law says that they have to respond to an open meeting complaint within 14 business days, and that any response can’t be used against the body, and has been interpreted to mean that they can delegate it to the law department.
And that is in fact a legitimate reason for going into executive session
But, here’s the complaint they’re hiding.
I don’t see anything about a special law or a grant-in-aid.
However, they’re also legally allowed to go into executive session over this, thanks to the first reason provided - to discuss the reputation, character, physical condition or mental health rather than professional competence of an individual.
But, that’s not what the agenda says.
So tomorrow evening, to go into executive session under purpose 7, they have to
State the reason for the executive session, stating all subjects that may be revealed without compromising the purpose for which the executive session was called;
• State whether the public body will reconvene in open session at the end of the
executive session; and
• Take a roll call vote of the body to enter executive session
So they’re going to have to say they’re going into executive session to discuss the open meeting law, and vote on that……
